Asia Industrial Gases Association in Vietnam received Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Industry and Trade

On March 27, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Industry and Trade to 03 groups that have had outstanding achievements in ensuring timely oxygen supply to meet the treatment of Covid patients. -19 in Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta provinces.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Hoang Quoc Lam, Deputy Director of the Department of Chemicals; Representatives of the Department of Personnel Organization - Ministry of Industry and Trade and leaders of units received the Minister's Certificate of Merit.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Department of Personnel Organization - Ministry of Industry and Trade announced Decision No. 109/QD-BCT dated January 18, 2024 on awarding Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Industry and Trade to 03 successful collectives. Outstanding achievements in ensuring timely oxygen levels to meet the treatment of Covid-19 patients in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta provinces: Welding Rod Industry Steam Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Industrial Gas Joint Stock Company; Asian Industrial Gas Association in Vietnam.

Mr. Anthony Grandpierre, Country Manager of Messer Vietnam attended the ceremony as Former Chairman of the Asian Industrial Gas Association in Vietnam. At the end of 2021, the epidemic situation became extremely complicated in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta provinces. At that time, Messer coordinated its efforts within the Asian Industrial Gas Association in Vietnam to coordinate with local authorities to ensure the supply of Liquefied Oxygen gas. This is also a non-stop working effort of Messer staff across Vietnam, overcoming adversity to focus on producing Oxygen to support epidemic areas.
